SMS terms

LeakLeaders sends text messages about water damage jobs referred through LeakLeaders. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Who gets texts, and what about

Homeowners

Texts about the one water damage job your plumber referred: which company is coming and its phone number, whether they arrived, and a request to rate the company and the plumber. We send these only after you agree. We never send homeowners marketing texts.

Plumbers

Sign-in codes, updates on the leads you send (accepted, on the way, finished), and payout notices.

Restoration companies

New-lead alerts, job updates, and account and billing notices, sent to the numbers your team chooses for alerts.

How you agree

  • Homeowners agree in person: the plumber hands over their phone and you tap I agree after reading a short notice that says LeakLeaders and one water-mitigation company may call or text you about the job. Or we text you once asking you to reply YES or tap a link. If you don't agree, you get no further texts. The consent screen and the texts are shown on our home page.
  • Plumbers and company team members agree when they create an account and confirm their mobile number, or when a company adds a number to receive lead alerts.

Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

How often

Message frequency varies. Homeowners usually get four or five texts about one job over about two days. Plumbers and companies get texts as their leads and jobs move, which depends on how many they send or take.

Stopping and starting

  • Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to any text. We'll confirm once and send no more texts to that number.
  • Reply START to receive texts again.
  • Plumbers and companies: if you stop texts, sign-in codes and alerts by text stop too. You can still use push notifications and email.

Help

Reply HELP to any text, or email support@leakleaders.com.

The fine print

  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

Privacy

We never sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal information.
